Childhood Cancer Awareness Month Events

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a time to come together to raise awareness and fund critical childhood cancer research.
Throughout the month, Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research will host and support events across the country, giving our community countless ways to make a difference. Whether you attend a fundraiser, participate in an awareness campaign, support a local giveback event or advocate for kids fighting cancer, every action helps move research forward.

National
National Campaigns Throughout September
#GoldStrong
- This is the universal trademarked hashtag for childhood cancer, and the entire community is invited to use it. Share your support by using #GoldStrong in your social media posts throughout September and all year long.
47 Faces of Rally
- This campaign honors the 47 children diagnosed with cancer every day. Rally Kids, their families and community supporters share their stories and raise critical funds for childhood cancer research. Read their stories, purchase their T-shirts and stickers, donate to their campaigns and learn how you can get involved. To sign up your child, email Emma@RallyFoundation.org.
#RallyFit 47 Challenge
- Dedicate your September workouts in honor of the 47 children diagnosed with cancer each day while raising funds for childhood cancer research. To learn more, contact Bryce@RallyFoundation.org.
Rally 4 Quarters 4 Research (4Q4R)
- Schools can make a meaningful impact during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by hosting a Rally 4 Quarters 4 Research fundraiser. This simple campaign helps raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer research. Contact Emma@RallyFoundation.org to learn more or sign up.

- While we celebrate Childhood Cancer Awareness Month all September long, September 13 is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Day. Help us raise awareness by sharing your story, promoting your fundraiser and using Rally's September social media toolkit. Together, we can shine a light on the 47 children diagnosed with cancer every day.

Friday, September 18
- Climb the Hill Youth Advocacy Day, hosted by Kids V Cancer. Learn more.
- CureFest Family Welcome Night from 4-7 p.m. at Freedom Plaza.
- CureFest Collective for fighters, survivors and siblings ages 13-29 from 6-10 p.m. at Hard Rock Cafe in Washington, D.C.
September 18-19
- CureFest Tribute Wall Display from 4 p.m. Friday, September 18, to 9 p.m. Saturday, September 19, at Freedom Plaza. Learn more.

- Rally to the U.S. Capitol beginning at 12:45 p.m. on the National Mall near the Smithsonian Castle.
- CureFest Meet and Greet from 4-7 p.m. at Freedom Plaza.
- Night of Golden Lights from 7-9 p.m. at Freedom Plaza.
- Candlelight Vigil from 9-9:30 p.m. at Freedom Plaza.

- CureFest Festival from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Sylvan Theater.
Atlanta Events
August 23
- Rally Atlanta GoldStrong Fest at Bentley Atlanta, an Asbury Automotive Group dealership, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 10995 Westside Parkway, Alpharetta, GA 30009.
September 14-18 — Lost Mountain Middle School Rally Week
- Monday: Rally Night at Otter's Chicken. Mention LMMS or Rally, and 15% of qualifying LMMS and Rally purchases will benefit Rally Week.
- Tuesday: Silent auction from 5-8 p.m.
- Wednesday: Students collect coins to bring back Friday.
- Thursday: LMMS Rally Night at West Cobb Dairy Queen from 5-9 p.m. Twenty percent of purchases will be donated to the Rally Week campaign. Family-friendly team trivia begins at 7 p.m.
- Friday: LMMS Rally Donation Day. Students bring filled donation bags to school, and community donations are also accepted.
September 18
- Pope High School's Matt Hobby Classic at 7:30 p.m. at 3001 Hembree Road NE, Marietta, GA 30062.

- Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream on Broadway will host a giveback from 4-7 p.m. at 5055 Broadway Place, Nashville, TN 37203.

- Participating Jet's Pizza locations will be GoldStrong throughout September, with a QR code included in to-go orders so customers can donate to Rally Foundation.
Cigi's Boutique
- Cigi's Boutique will donate a percentage of sales to Rally Foundation throughout September. Visit 29 E. First St., Cookeville, TN 38501, to shop and support kids fighting cancer.
Jamie's Eats & Sweets
