About Us

Our
Mission
Rally Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization,
is dedicated to raising awareness and funds specifically for childhood
cancer research through nationally-coordinated grassroots
fundraising initiatives. All proceeds support pediatric
cancer research to find better treatments and cures for
childhood cancers.
Rally Foundation Spokesperson
Rally Foundation is thrilled to announce that Tom Glavine,
the 1995 World Series MVP, 2-time Cy Young Award Winner,
and 8-time National League All-Star, has agreed to serve
as the spokesperson for our Money in the Mitt fundraising
endeavor.
Tom, and his wife Chris, were personally touched when
Will, a child from the school their kids attend, was
diagnosed with childhood cancer. The Glavines and the
Rally Foundation are leading the Money in the Mitt campaign
to raise money for childhood cancer research so that
kids like Will can receive better treatments with fewer
long-term side effects and ultimately, a cure.

What We Fund
Rally gives 100% of its net proceeds to fund all phases of childhood cancer research. Rally Foundation is excited to help fund the collaborative
research of more than 5,000 physicians, scientists and
nurses at 200 hospitals nationwide. These physicians
and nurses treat more than 90% of the children in the
US with cancer. Eighty percent of these children are
enrolled in clinical trials. Rally Foundation supports
all phases of childhood cancer research from science
at the bench (very early research) to Phase I, II, and
III clinical trials. Rally gives research grants once a year during its fiscal year fourth quarter - January through March.

The Rally Story
It all started in a driveway. Nothing pulls a community
together more than when a child gets sick. William Olson
is that child, and when his brain cancer returned after
an 18-month remission, more than 100 friends gathered
in the Olson’s driveway to pray. A group of moms
continued to meet in the Olson’s driveway every
Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning to keep praying
for the Olson’s as they faced an incredibly tough
battle.
One evening, Dean Crowe, one of the Prayer Circle
moms, and her husband, Reid, went to visit William in
the hospital. At the time of the visit, William had
zero white blood cells and was very sick. The couple
started asking questions about the treatments available
for William. They were surprised at how limited his
options were.
Dean asked William’s mom, Nancy, a simple question,
“What can I do to help?”
